Adolescent
Counseling Services provides high-quality, professional
supervision and training to the clinical interns working
in our three programs:
- On-Campus Counseling Program – individual,
family and group counseling on eight secondary school
campuses
- Adolescent Substance Abuse Treatment Program
– professional assessment, intensive outpatient
treatment and prevention education in the community
- After-School Counseling Program - offers affordable counseling and psychotherapy during the evening hours to teens and their families
Clinical Supervision
As a clinical intern with Adolescent Counseling Services,
you will be receiving weekly at a minimum:
- One (1) hour of Individual Supervision with
a Licensed Professional.
- Two (2) hours of Group Supervision
lead by a Licensed Professional.
- Additional supervision can be provided when
needed
Clinical Training
Clinical Interns are to attend weekly training courses
offered at ACS. A list of courses previously offered
is printed below. These courses are between one and
a half to two hours in duration.
